Israeli shekels to fund P2P network storage
An Israeli-based startup developing technology to store multimedia files in peer-to-peer networks has gained first round venture funding.
Unison Play Ltd has raised NIS 2 million from LabOne Innovations and is recruiting engineers. The company was founded in 2007 by CEO Yossi Wellingstein. Its technology aims to store large multimedia files on a P2P network and have them downloadable for playing by Click2Play. A beta version is intended to be ready in early 2009.
