agámi folds

A storage blogger reports that agámi systems has closed down.
The startup was developing network storage systems with integrated live file system replication and raised $45 million in a C-round funding exercise in February, taking total funding to $85 million.
It announced Acsys Interactive as a customer in April.
Craig Stephens, agámi's VP for strategic partnerships and business development, joined Continuent, a San Jose, CA, software provider earlier this month.
There is anecdotal evidence of agámi closing from a source at a partner company. agámi stopped using the Text100 PR agency in April according to a source there. It looks as if the agámi venture capitalists didn't like the current environment and pulled the plug to get their cash out.
No-one at agámi was available for comment.
