ExaGrid sales soaring

Deduping disk-to-disk backup system vendor ExaGrid Systems reported impressive progress with second quarter 2008 sales up 164 percent from the year-ago quarter.
Sales were up 41 percent compared to the previous quarter. The company's compound quarter-over-quarter growth rate from Q4 2005, when it began shipping, to Q2 2008, is 35 percent.
During the second quarter ExaGrid says:
- More than 25 new channel partners joined from the US, Canada, UK, Germany, Benelux, the Nordics and South Africa,
- It gained new customers in industries such as: healthcare; legal; engineering services; manufacturing; oil and gas; education and federal, state and local government.
ExaGrid Systems is privately-held and didn't reveal financial details of its performance.
