There has been no official response from Siemens about the reports concerning the possible abandonment of its Fujitsu Siemens Computers joint venture with Fujitsu.
However, according to people familiar with the situation, Fujitsu Siemens Computers' leadership is convinced that the company will enjoy its tenth birthday next year as a viable trading enterprise and are determined that it will do so. Times may be hard but the company has products with an excellent reputation for quality, value and functionality, and staff that develop, service and stand behind them. It is proud of both of these things and determined that they should and will continue. [Chris Mellor.]
