Sun loses global sales boss

On June 2nd Sun's global sales boss, Don Grantham, left to go to HP as its chief sales officer.
Reporting to Ann Livermore, he will be responsible for enterprise accounts and public sector sales as well as sales to the communications, media and entertainment, financial and manufacturing and distribution industries.
Grantham spent nine years at Sun and his last quarter was one in which Sun lost $34 million. It could be that's he's walked because he was pushed or he's wealked because he doesn't think it's going to get any better.
Peter Ryan becomes Sun's new global sales head, reporting to CEO Jonathan Schwartz, having been internally promoted from running Sun's Americas sales.
