Pioneer to sell Blu-ray recorders in Japan

By the end of 2008
Reuters reports that Pioneer, an active Blu-ray device price dropper in China, will start selling Blu-ray recorders in Japan before the end of the year.
The Pioneer product will be developed with Sharp and its entry into Japan is a consequence of HD-DVD being hors de combat and the coming Beijing Olympics sparking HD video recording demand.
