Samsung gets large Apple iPhone flash order

Cuts supply to other customers
Samsung appears to have received an order for 50 million 8GB NAND flash chips, mostly for the new iPhone. It's told other customers it will be reducing its supply to them.
(It might be true that Samsung told these customers: "It's more than my Jobs worth to do otherwise....." Then again it might not.)
There doesn't seem to a any view in the flash industry that this Apple order will lift the downturned market.
