Symantec's head up its SaaS

EMC blogger twists the pricing knife

An EMC blogger aptly named Storagezilla has suggested  Symantec has its head up its 'own SaaS' because of its high prices for cloud storage.

Symantec's SwapDrive costs, he writes, $49.50/year for 2GB of backup capacity. Contrast that with EMC Mozy's 2GB for nothing and 5GB of free file sharing storage with Microsoft's Live SkyDrive.

Comment in the blogosphere can be pretty robust.
