We don't comment on rumours
Asked to respond to speculation that it is developing a 20,000rpm hard disk drive Western Digital said: "No comment. We don't comment on rumours."
Just take it at face value. It doesn't say the technology is being worked on or not being worked on and doesn't express any views about the relevance of such technology.
