London, June 2, 2008 – Recommind, a leading provider of automatic categorisation, enterprise search, and eDiscovery systems for enterprises and law firms, today announced that it has been named a leader in the May 2008 Forrester Wave™: Enterprise Search report, Q2 2008.
Forrester analysts cited Recommind’s MindServer platform as “a semantic-based engine that is especially good at indexing large-volume document archives, and it also capably searches other unstructured content assisted by solid parametric search features…” Forrester analysts went on to recommend that “Enterprises looking at proactively managing content in increasingly litigious-prone industry segments should consider Recommind.”
Recommind was among 11 companies invited by Forrester to participate in the report, which evaluated enterprise search vendors across 147 criteria. Selected based on market presence and client feedback, the report recognised Recommind as one of two vendors for delivering distinctive solutions for target verticals. Specifically, Recommind was described as being “well-known for search and categorisation in the legal market and for eDiscovery.”
“We are pleased to have been recognised as a leader in the Forrester Wave™ report on Enterprise Search. This recognition reflects our commitment to enabling our customers to effectively manage their information, both by leveraging the knowledge that resides within the organisation while concurrently reducing the potential risk posed by that information in today’s complex legal environment. As more organisations come to realise the necessity of organising their information for knowledge management, compliance and eDiscovery purposes, Recommind will continue to provide uniquely effective solutions to help our customers thrive in an increasingly competitive business environment,” said Robert Tennant, Recommind CEO.
