Channel Expo, NEC Birmingham (Stand No.B18) - 21st May 2008 - IASO, a leading vendor of online backup software and remote backup services, today announced the roll out of a reseller programme in the UK.

The programme gives resellers an easy way of offering Storage-as-a-Service to their SMBs and larger enterprises.

IASO provides a fast, safe and reliable IP backup solution, while creating a powerful commercial opportunity for the reseller channel. Each reseller receives technical training on the IASO Backup solution and its possibilities. IASO has a target of 1000 resellers in the UK.

IASO's IP Backup solution comprises a series of Backup Appliances and the Backup Manager client software. The Backup Appliances range from 250 GB to 14 TB per system. Bigger systems can be built by stacking systems. The IASO Backup Manager fully automates the backup process, eliminating labour-intensive manual interventions, reducing cost of ownership and prevents for errors which are all too common with traditional tape-based solutions.

IASO's IP Backup is based on the principle that not all data changes every day. IASO's advanced data reduction technology ensures that only the daily changes have to be processed to make a full backup, daily or several times per day.
