Santa Clara, Calif. – April 24, 2008 – NEC Corporation of America, a premier provider of network, IT and identity management solutions, and Toggle Networks are teaming up to deliver a hosted business continuity service for businesses needing a fast, easy and affordable means of meeting business continuity planning (BCP) requirements of data and application protection in the event of disaster.

Toggle Networks will leverage NEC’s award-winning ExpressCluster WAN solution as the foundation of their hosted business continuity service.

This innovative service will provide fully equipped synchronous WAN replication and automatic service failover of mission critical servers across geographically distributed locations. In selecting a partner for this hosted service, Toggle Networks sought a software product:

· based on an open platform;

· delivers synchronous, WAN-level protection;

· offers geo-distributed hosting capability for site-level business continuity capabilities;

· leverages industry-proven hosting infrastructures; and

· provides an affordable, cost-effective, and turnkey solution.

“We looked at a number of the most common software disaster recovery solutions,” said Ryan Chantler, president of Toggle Networks. “In both performance and feature-to-feature comparisons, there were no real contenders other than NEC’s ExpressCluster WAN.”

Along with their usual free initial business continuity assessment, Toggle Networks will offer a free 60-day trial of the new service.

Toggle Networks will demonstrate the capabilities of its new high availability hosting service powered by NEC ExpressCluster WAN in Toggle Networks booth, #22, at the Calgary Storage Networking 2008 show on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre, MacLeod Hall CD.
