SANTA CLARA, Calif. – April 8, 2008 – Solid Data Systems, Inc., the leading global provider of DRAM-based enterprise and carrier-class solid-state disk (SSD) storage systems, today announced a new reseller partnership with PlusCircle, a provider of SAP systems integration, maintenance and consulting services based in Taiwan.
The partnership joins two high-end enterprise-class leaders and their expertise to offer solutions that optimize the use of SSDs in SAP applications, the largest ERP applications in the world.
“We are pleased to be partnering with PlusCircle, a recognized expert in SAP collaborative business solutions for all types of industries,” said Wade Tuma, CEO of Solid Data Systems. “Due to the dramatic growth in high-volume, high-transaction applications, we find many of the larger SAP deployment sites can benefit from the addition of SSDs to their infrastructure.”
SAP is the world’s largest business software company and the third-largest supplier overall, focused on helping customers reduce costs, enable growth, achieve operational excellence, manage risk, increase ability to respond to rapidly changing business needs, and outperform the competition.
“Our mission is to empower every aspect of business operations for our highly regarded clients using SAP solutions,” said Tony Liou, President of PlusCircle. “To that end, our systems integration team, support team and remote consulting center are dedicated to using only best-in-class technology such as Solid Data SSDs in conjunction with SAP applications.”
“Systems built with SSD also use much less power and use fewer servers for overall lower systems cost,” said Mark Hayashida, CTO of Solid Data Systems. “With the PlusCircle consulting group, we will be able to introduce architectures specifically designed to bring more than just increased performance to SAP environments.”
