Iomega's storage product for gamers

It is reported in India that Iomega is introducing a storage product for Xbox and PlayStation game players.
The Media Exporter is an external storage product offering 150GB capacity. It will be launched this week in Europe and America and then, some time afterwards in India and, presumably the rest of Asia, according to Durvas Ramamoorthy Baskaran, Iomega Pacific Pte's business development manager for India and the Middle East.
In the report he also mentioned Iomega's service, saying that Iomega offered a 12 month replacement warranty with buffer stocks at distributor level. The company intends to widen the reach of its portable hard drives to more consumers, but no details were revealed of how this would be done.
