Added distribution power for Hitachi HDD business

Hitachi's decision to close the finance injection talks with Silver Peak looks even more justified after a new distribution partner was announced for China.
VST Holdings Ltd will distribute Hitachi GST's hard disk drives (HDDs) in China and thus service HDD needs of notebook and desktop PC and server manufacturers as well as HDD-using consumer electronics products.
VST will augment Hitachi's existing distribution arrangements in China and extend its effective reach to third and fourth rank cities, beyond its current coverage of first and second rank cities. As China is a quickly and steadily growing market this new distribution deal should help Hitachi GST move towards, if not into, profit.
