ProStor, the supplier of RDX removable hard drives and the InfiniVault atrchive product that uses them, has recruited Buzz Walker from Arkivio to be its VP of product management.

His remit includes market strategy as well as product development, and encompasses go-to-market strategies, market analysis, market segmentation, product positioning, messaging, target markets, pricing and the company’s product roadmap.

At Arkivio Walker was VP for marketing and business development and did a lot of the same stuff. Before then he was with HP.

Steve Georgis, ProStor's president and CEO, said: ""Buzz adds broad experience in storage systems, and has an excellent track record in creating mid-tier and enterprise market opportunities. ... Buzz will help us capitalize on the many opportunities we are seeing for both our InfiniVault systems and RDX removable disk technology.”
