Dataram announced the immediate availability of a 16GB memory upgrade for Hewlett-Packard's ProLiant DL580 G5 and BL680c servers.
With Dataram's new DRH667FB/16GB, customers are able to double the maximum memory capacities of the DL580 G5 and BL680c servers. The DRH667FB/16GB upgrade consists of a matched pair of 8GB PC2-5300 DDR2-667 FB-DIMMs.
The HP ProLiant DL580 G5 is a rack-optimised enterprise class, 4 socket server designed for maximum scalability and high availability. It supports Dual- and Quad-Core Intel Xeon processors and up to 256GB of Dataram memory.
The HP ProLiant BL680c Server Blade features up to four Dual- and Quad-Core Intel Xeon processors and supports up to 128GB of Dataram memory.
Dataram's DRH667FB/16GB (2 x 8GB FB-DIMMs) supports Advanced ECC, Memory Mirroring and Online Spare modes in both servers.
In addition to the 16GB upgrade, Dataram offers a wide variety of memory options for the DL580 G5 and BL680c systems, including two new Low Power options.
