8GB thumb drive coming
posted on 14 March 2008 11:34
LG Electronics is to increase the capacity of its retractable thumb drive to 8GB.
The company, recently awarded Superbrand status in the UK, already has an 8GB thumb drive, one with embedded anti-virus software.
The Mini Retractable flash drive, currently at 2GB capacity, empoys a design in which the USB connector is withdrawn into the body of the unit when not in use. There is no need for a protective cap.
It is less than 5cm long and weighs 7 grammes.
