Ballmer blew it

Vista train wreck could cost Ballmer his job

StorageMojo blogger Robin Harris has said what many others have thought; Microsoft's Vista launch was bungled because of software bloat and inadequate device driver support. The slew of e-mails coming out in the Vista Capable class action is showing that Microsoft could not focus properly on producing a great Vista experience for customers.

It all happened on Steve Ballmer's watch. Microsoft is a multi-headed Hydra that he can't manage effectively and he needs to go, with a much stronger and more focused CEO coming in to bring order to Microsoft's divided house.

Two questions. Will Bill Gates wield the knife? Could Ray Ozzie be a CEO candidate?
