Lexar's cool DDR2 memory modules
Micron Technology subsidiary Lexar Media has announced special edition Crucial Ballistix Tracer Red 2GB memory modules, Their completely red colour design will appeal to case modders and enthusiasts.
The new modules feature two rows of red activity-indicating light emitting diodes (LED), red ground-effects LEDs, and a red printed circuit board (PCB) stylishly covered with a striking red heat spreader with a raised, diamond-cut logo and clip-less design.
Jeremy Mortenson, Lexar Media’s DRAM product marketing manager, said: “Crucial Ballistix Tracer Red 2GB 800MHz modules are designed to impress both inside and out. Hiding beneath the attractive casing is our award-winning Crucial Ballistix 800MHz memory, which maximizes performance through high speeds and low latencies. Plus, they are available in our highest capacity modules to date.”
Crucial Ballistix Tracer Red memory modules offer latency timings of 4-4-4-12 and are available immediately in 2GB modules and 4GB kits at www.crucial.com/uk, www.crucial.com/eu, and in Nordic regions through Komplett. Product availability in the U.S. is expected in Q2 2008.
