HP loses/pushes out SVP Americas storage and server sales

Replacement in place quickly
Mark Gonzalez, HP SVP for Americas storage and server sales has abruptly left HP with no other destination in sight.
It's so abrupt his bio is still on HP's website. http://www.hp.com/hpinfo/newsroom/press_kits/2005/hpasc/bi_gonzalez.pdf. Gonzalez was in place in the Fiorina era so, perhaps, there is still a little clearing out going on of Fiorina people that don't quite fit in Mark Hurd's HP. He came into HP via the Compaq acquisition and he was VP Americas enterprise storage sales at Compaq. Chritopher M. Riley, ex-VP sales and marketing at CRM-vendor Gryphon Networks sort of effectively takes over the role as he becomes HP VP for Americas storage sales. His background includes stints at SAN director suppliers CNET and McData plus a dozen years at EMC some time before.
